Training and Development
We constantly seek opportunities to train in skills development, leadership and Fundraising through related partner businesses.

Leadership, Mentorship and Coaching clinics
Working with leaders to enable them to grow effectively in their roles in society.

Urban Transformation Centres
To develop the initiative to give every community a resource (not a building) that is supportive of community transformation.
CEO Summit Breakfasts/Dinners/Retreats
To influence and mentor the generation of students that were student leaders with us in the 1980 on campuses who are now in major leadership positions in government and the corporate world.
Urban Lifestyle, Health, Entertainment, Meditation
To seek to publish/write articles/organise events on the four key areas of an urbam leader’s life: Lifestyle, Health, Entertainment and Meditation
Urban Issues Book Project
To select a national/international bestseller 6 times a year and send them to 10 key leaders in every province as a gift to so influence them for righteousness
The UIM will also launch a leadership programme to train leaders for a national role on the African continent.
The programme will be called The Legacy Project
The concept is to get current leaders to leave a legacy to develop future leaders.
This legacy will be two-fold:
  1. Investment in the Urban Issues Foundation
2. Providing property for Community use

The Legacy Leadership Project
This project aims to select 50 grade 10 students, 25 from national leaders and 25 from poorer communities and to take them on a high-level leadership retreat for 3 weeks every June for 3 years.

The Legacy Bursary Project
This is a follow-up project to the Legacy Leadership Project in that once a student has completed all 3 years of leadership training they will qualify for a scholarship to study at a national university.

The Legacy Internship
Upon completion of their studies they will serve a year’s intership of two months each in politics, business, the church and the community. Thereafter 4 months of debrief before they enter a leadership role in industry.

The Legacy Mentorship Project
1. Once we select a student for the Legacy Mentorship Project, we assign him/her a mentor. Our mentors will be those whom we work with in the CEO Summit meetings and whom we coach eg the people we were students with in the 1980s.
2. The mentor will be assigned for twelve months, but would prefer that they walk with the student from grade 10 through to end of University plus 1 year.
